Windows 11’s Phone Link app now features iPhone support

Windows 11 Phone Link app now includes support for iOS, so iPhone users can finally make calls and send messages from their PC. The feature was previously limited to Android devices. Since March 2023, it has been made available to a small number of Windows 11 Insiders. But now it is available to a wider audience. The update is part of Microsoft's effort to bridge the gap between Windows and mobile devices.

Phone Link Ios Get Started

The release of iOS support for the Windows 11 Phone Link app is being carried out in stages, and its availability may not be immediate for everyone. Microsoft anticipates that iOS support will be accessible to everyone by mid-May, which coincides with the Patch Tuesday update next month. The feature is being launched in 85 markets and 39 languages.

Also, it is important to point out that the Link to Phone app's iOS support only provides basic functionality, restricting the feature set. Users cannot send images and videos, participate in group messaging, or access their phone's photo gallery from their PC.

To pair Phone Link with your iPhone, launch the app and follow to the on-screen guidance. This assumes that the new app version has already reached your PC.
