Once Vivaldi 1.11 was released to the stable branch, the next version of the browser reached the developer branch. A new snapshot of the upcoming version 1.12 of Vivaldi introduces the ability to sort downloads by type.
A new developer snapshot, version 1.12.947.3, brings a new information panel for downloads. The official announcement states the following:
Recently, we’ve stepped up the game with the Download Panel by adding the ability to sort downloads any way you like. Many of you wondered if we were going to add the download speed to the mix, and guess what – we just did. Not only that, but we also made a brand-new info toggle in the Download Panel that shows you everything you need to know about your downloads: name of the file, download speed, download URL, destination folder, and date and time.
Here is how it looks.
To hide it, double-click the separator line above the info pane as shown on the screenshot below. The info pane will be collapsed.
Another change has affected the accent color of the tab row. YouTube’s latest logo update results in a pretty aggressive accent color in Vivaldi. A new slider in setting allows the user to adjust the maximum allowed saturation level of accent colors.
