The unified OneNote app for Windows is now available in the Microsoft Store

In August 2021, Microsoft announced its intention to combine existing versions of OneNote for Windows into a single app. The company had two versions of OneNote coexisting + a web app. Each had its own name. Windows 11 had its own OneNote version. Now they are unified into one app.Onenote Unified App

Microsoft now removed the old OneNote for Windows 10 app from the Microsoft Store and instead released a new version of OneNote. Of course, now it will not be possible to find the old application through the search, but you can still install it by clicking on the direct link .

The unified application is based on the classic OneNote Win32 application. Microsoft decided not to go with the UWP version of OneNote for Windows 10, although it will be supported until October 2025 along with the OS. So that users can seamlessly switch to the new application. Some features from OneNote for Windows 10 will be carried over to the new OneNote app.
