The new ChatGPT-4 model will be introduced this week

Microsoft Germany CTO Andreas Braun announced during the AI ​​in Focus - Digital Kickoff event that the latest GPT-4 language model will be unveiled this week. It will not only be more powerful than the current version of GPT-3.5 used in ChatGPT, but will also receive a number of new features, including the ability to generate video. It will have "multimodal models" that allow for more types of content generation.

There were speculations that the Bing chat bot is already using the unannounced GPT-4 model, but, apparently, this is not the case. It is based on the proprietary Prometheus technology, which allows you to quickly receive answers based on up-to-date information about the world.

GPT-4 is due on March 19, 2023.

Microsoft's close partnership with OpenAI allowed significantly improve AI capabilities. The Redmond software giant is reportedly investing up to $10 billion in OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT.
