In Windows 10, the Task Manager app has a number useful features. It can manage startup apps now and calculate their impact on startup performance. You can also see app history and copy process details quickly with it. In the "More details" mode, Task Manager has two tabs, Processes and Details, to control running apps. The App history tab, which is part of the Task Manager app in Windows 10, is designed to show statistics for Modern apps that you use. It shows the CPU time of apps (which apps keep the CPU busy for the most amount of time), the amount of data each app has downloaded or uploaded, or consumed for showing live tiles, including the data consumption over a metered network and a non-metered one. However, sometimes the App history stops working and you may not figure out why. How to copy process details from the Task manager in Windows 10
Windows 10 inherited its Task Manager from Windows 8. Compared with the old one from Windows 7, it is a completely different application. It features a simplified mode, and an advanced mode with more detailed performance information. There's added management of startup apps with a very useful "startup impact" calculation feature. Yet another interesting feature of the Task Manager is the ability to copy detailed information of an application or service with one keystroke.
