Microsoft has updated the built-in translator feature, so it is now possible to select a portion of the text on a web page, and instantly translate it with Bing. The option has landed in the Canary branch of the browser.
KB4576754 force installs Edge Chromium in Windows 10 version 2004
Microsoft has released KB4576754, a new update that force installs the Edge browser in Windows 10 version 2004 and older releases. Similar to KB4559309, after installing the above patch Microsoft Edge appears installed and pinned to the taskbar, and the uninstall button is grayed out in the list of installed apps.
Reminder: Windows 10 version 1903 will reach end of support on December 8, 2020
Microsoft will soon end support for Windows 10 version 1903, also known as 'May 2019 Update' and '19H1'. The OS will stop receiving security updates starting on December 8, 2020.

Edge now allows creating InPrivate Browsing shortcut with one click
An option to create a shortcut to directly open Chrome in Incognito mode was recently introduced in Chrome. Finally, it has also become available in Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft replaces classic Programs and Features with the Settings app in Windows 10
Microsoft will soon kill the classic Control Panel applet 'Programs and features' with the corresponding page in Settings, i.e. Apps > Apps and Features. The change is internally introduced in yesterday's build 20211 of Windows 10. This will end the era of the classic Control Panel applet, leaving the Settings app as the exclusive tool to remove apps and manage optional features.
Thunderbird 78.2.2 released with a number fixes and one new feature
Thunderbird 78.2.2 is now available for download. Version 78.2.2 will be offered as an update package to the Thunderbird 78 branch. There is no corresponding update package for version 68, so you cannot get Thunderbird 78.2.1 automatically installed over Thunderbird 68 or older releases.
Microsoft has released Windows 10 build 20211 to the Dev channel
A new build hits the Dev channel, bringing a few changes to Windows Insiders. It is notable for searching the lists of file types, protocols, and apps on the Default apps page in Settings, and for the the ability for users to attach and mount a physical disk inside of a WSL 2 distro.
Microsoft integrates servicing stack updates in cumulative updates
There is a great change made to how Microsoft is delivering update to WSUS and the Windows Update catalog. Instead of supplying the separate servicing stack update (SSU) and latest cumulative update (LCU) packages, the company is merging them into a single package, available on Microsoft Update Catalog, and for the WSUS.
Edge Dev 87.0.634.0 makes new Download UI available to everyone
Microsoft has updated the Edge Dev channel with a new feature, the new Download UI, which was earlier available to select small group of Insiders. Now, starting in build 87.0.629.0 and above, Edge can ask users if they want to Open, Save As, Save, or Cancel a download. This is also available in the Canary channel.
