Microsoft yesterday released Windows 11 Build 22631.2338 in Beta. It comes as the KB5030305 patch, and includes a new Focus widget. Patch Tuesday's updates are now available for both Windows 11 and Windows 10. These patches aren't aimed to bring with them drastic changes to the OS and its features. In the near future, Microsoft will stop distributing third-party printer drivers through Windows Update. This decision was made due to the introduction of native support for Mopria compatible printer drivers in Windows 10 21H2, which can be used with any USB or Ethernet connected printers. The Microsoft IPP Class Driver offers basic printing functionality without requiring additional software installation. Microsoft has released new preview builds of Windows 11 (version 22H2) 22621.2271 and 22631.2271 (KB5030316) to Windows Insiders on the Beta channel. The Beta channel hosts what will become Windows 11 version 23H2, which should become released to everyone this month. The OS is feature complete, so there are no drastic changes anywhere, only fixes.
