I would like to share with you a little app I coded which gives you the ability to block any app from accessing the Internet. This is done with just one click and uses the built-in Windows Firewall to block or allow it. OneClickFirewall is a small program I made which integrates with the Explorer context menu. All you need to do is right click the application you want to block and select "Block Internet Access".

Running Windows 7? Taskbar Pinner is a must have app for you
Out of the box, Windows 7 allows you to pin programs to the taskbar. In later versions of Windows like Windows 8 and Windows 10, Microsoft allows the user to pin folders and settings to Start but not the Taskbar. Pinning stuff to the Taskbar except program shortcuts remains severely restricted. Show the last logon information at every logon in Windows 10
One of the interesting features of all versions of Windows including Windows 10 and Windows 8 is the ability to show detailed information about your previous logon. Every time you sign in, you will see an information screen with the date and time of the last successful logon. The same information will be displayed even if the previous logon was unsuccessful. This feature can be turned on with a simple Registry tweak.
