OpenAI officially launched GPT Store with custom chatbots

The OpenAI company has announced a new store for customized chatbots powered by ChatGPT. These chatbots are designed to tackle specific problems and are accessible to users with ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise plans.

Chatbot Store Openai

In November 2023, OpenAI introduced a GPTs feature that allows creating custom chatbots with unique abilities, skills, and knowledge. By providing a textual description of the chatbot's role and specific data sources, users can configure the chatbot accordingly.

OpenAI emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts within the community to foster better solutions. In line with this, they announced the upcoming launch of the GPT Store, wherein users can publicly publish their custom chatbots. Initially planned for release in December 2023, the launch was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and Sam Altman's departure from OpenAI.

So now OpenAI officially launched the GPTs feature and the GPT Store. The blog post outlined that these features will gradually become available to paid Plus, Team, and Enterprise users.

Additionally, in the first quarter of 2024, OpenAI will introduce a monetary incentive system for creators and offer corporate clients the opportunity to create private sections within the GPT Store. Notably, within just a few months, users have already developed over three million chatbots to tackle diverse problems.
