Advertisеment
Can you update the download url for .net 4.6.2 offline installer? You don’t seem to have it on your website.
I see it here
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dotnet/2016/08/02/announcing-net-framework-4-6-2/
but more specifically
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344
Thanks, updated
Is it just me, or am I missing something here? Every time I try to download the “offline” installer for any of the .NET’s, it’s tiny in size (around 50 or so MB), and will not install on my offline systems.
I don’t understand this process. It says right in the title, “The offline package can be used in situations where the web installer cannot be used due to lack of internet connectivity. “, yet if you scroll down to instructions, it says,
“On this page, choose the Download button.
To install the software now, choose the Run button.
To install the software later, choose the Save button. (When you install, the computer must be connected to the Internet.)
Why/When does the computer need to be connected to the interenet when my needs are to install completely OFFLINE!?
Help. Please!
hi Sergey
apparently the .NET Framework 4.6.2 offline installer got a silent re-release in early May 2021 that has been signed only with SHA-2 hashes and now installs under Windows Server 2008 SP2 with the KB4474419 update installed
here’s the new download link to it as it’s no longer available from the old MS download center link:

Thank you!
