Microsoft released Windows 10 Build 19044.1381 / 19043.1381 to the RP channel

The Redmond software giant today released a new patch to Insiders running Windows 10 in the Release Preview channel. KB5007253 raises the OS version to Build 19044.1381 (21H2) and Build 19044.1381 (21H1), and includes just one fix.

The official announcement mentions the following changes in this release.

Fixed an issue that might affect devices that use Windows Hello for Business and are joined to Azure Active Directory (AD). These devices might experience issues when they access on-premises resources, such as file shares or websites.

Besides the above, it incorporates all the changes introduced in KB5007253. The latter was released on November 16, and comes with a huge list of various improvements.

If you are running Windows 10 with Insider settings set to the Release Preview channel, open Settings (Win + I), and go to Update&recovery > Windows Update. Click on Check for updates to install the latest build available for you. Anyway, it should arrive automatically on your device in coming hours.
