Microsoft may rebrand Bing to Microsoft Bing, and change its logo once again

Just recently, Microsoft has updated Bing with a new logo, and it looks like the Redmond company is not satisfied with its branding. One more change is coming to Bing. Currently, Microsoft is experimenting with a new name for the service, and with  a new logo for it again.

Bing is Microsoft's very own search engine, which is constantly evolving. It is also notable for exciting wallpapers for the start page that change daily.

As spotted by ALumia, the search engine is showing a new logo for some users. The "B" logo is replaced with the Microsoft logo.

For some, the new logo is completed with the "Microsoft Bing" name. It is embedded in a different sprite resource, currently accessible by the link https://www.bing.com/sa/simg/SharedSpriteDesktop_Logov1_2x_030520.png

It is a bit strange to see the name and icon change so quickly after the public roll-out of the newer curved logo. Microsoft might have a reason for that which the company may disclose soon.

  1. So the new logo is just… Microsoft Logo? What next? Just rename it to “Microsoft” and emulate Google completely?
The current Bing logo and name is fine.
