Besides tons of fixes and security improvements, these updates permanently remove the now unsupported Edge Legacy. More and more users switch to Edge Chromium; thus, Microsoft wants to help newcomers discover new features. As a part of these efforts, the company introduced a new welcome experience in the Edge browser. A new welcome page splits between different sections highlighting different aspects of Microsoft Edge: shopping, productivity, protection, performance, and accessibility. Also, there is a "Learn more" page that leads users to the official website with tips and tutorials.
