Microsoft Edge is getting a new Games feature

It looks like Microsoft is prepraring a new feature for its Edge browser. A new flyout can be enabled in Edge Canary, with a list of games built of HTML5.

The Games feature is disabled by default. To add its button the toolbar, you need to open Settings > Appearance and turn on the Games button toggle option.

Enable Games feature in Microsoft Edge

Clicking the "Games" button will open a panel with games. The games are  HTML5/online games that are organized into multiple categories, including Microsoft Classic, arcade, board, card, sports, casual, and so on. The games will run in the browser.

As of this writing, the Games feature is available to a small group of Insiders running Edge Canary. If you want to try your luck, you can download Edge Canary from its official website.

RSS feed support is yet another interesting recent addition to the browser. Called "Followable web", it is part of the Collections feature that allows the user to subscribe for a website's updates and receive them in real-time.

Another change Microsoft Edge Canary received a few days ago is an  updated “Send tab to self” feature. It allows the user to share a web page across his devices. It is notable for having in-app notifications in Edge that appear when Edge receives a page. This new way of notifying the user goes well with the Focus Assist feature of Windows. So when the OS is in Do not disturb mode, you won't miss notifications about incoming URLs, but they won't interrupt your workflow.
