Pin games to Quick Resume
Xbox Series X|S consoles include the Quick Resume feature that allows you to quickly switch between multiple games and resume the game where you left off. With today's update, you can pin up to two games in Quick Resume on your Xbox Series X|S. The pinned game will remain there unless you manually unpin it or a game receives a major update.
The updated Xbox Accessories app allows remapping buttons on supported Xbox accessories. This includes the ability to assign one of the predefined actions to the Share button. You can make it mute TV, open friends list, open achievements, and more. By default, it is set to capture a screenshot or record a video, depending on how you press it.
Besides, Elite Series 2 Controllers, Xbox Adaptive Controllers are getting a few new actions.
Controller Firmware Updates
The latest firmware comes with a good set of fixes and updates for Xbox One controllers with Bluetooth support, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and Xbox Adaptive Controllers. Microsoft also mentioned performance improvements, but sadly didn't provide more details on these changes.
New Audio Setup Wizard
You can now launch a new audio setup wizard from Settings > General > Volume & audio output > Audio setup. It supports HDMI devices and allows you to test and change the output format. You can also test each of your speakers individually to ensure that everything works as expected.
The official announcement is here.
