What's new in Firefox 82.0.2

  • Fixed duplication of WebSocket messages in certain cases

The bug was causing double packets to be received when a web app sent a file using the WebSocket protocol. For example, if a WebSocket was implemented with Node.js, and the app was sending a file sliced into 1MB pieces, some of the slices would be sent two or more times.
