How to Download Samsung Screen Recorder App for Windows 10
Earlier we have reported that Samsung is working on a new Screen Recorder app for Windows 10. The wait is over - the app is now available for download on Microsoft Store.

As you may already know, screen recording is already possible on Windows 10 with the preinstalled Xbox Game Bar app. Besides that, the PowerToys developers are actively working on a new screen capture tool. It will be eventually included in PowerToys, bringing more first-party tools to the end users.
What is Samsung Screen Recorder
Samsung Screen Recorder is a feature-rich screen recording app that makes the most of your screen recording and settings. After you launch the screen recorder app, a toolbar bar will appear, which will include the following options:
- Start screen recording
- Take a screenshot
- Launch a webcam window
- Launch Application Settings
The app has a variety of options in its Settings. You can open the Settings page by clicking on the Gear icon. There you will find the following options.
- Select an area to record
- Webcam source
- Video recording resolution (up to low quality 720x480)
- Sound on / off (and sound source selection)

- Screenshot image format selection (PNG, JPEG, TIFF and BMP)
- Customize keyboard shortcuts

To Download Samsung Screen Recorder
- Click on the following Microsoft Store link.
- Click on the Get button.
- The above will open Microsoft Store. Click on the Get button again.
- This will download and install the Samsung Screen Recorder app for you.
You are done.
The file size is 135 MB. It requires Windows 10 version 17134.0 or higher running on a PC or Xbox One, and is available only for 64-bit Windows 10.
Update: Our reader 'Shai Lasher' reports that currently the app is restricted to Samsung devices and doesn't start if it detects that it is running on a non-Samsung product.

It is only after installation, on an Asus computer (running under Windows 10 pro 64) that it tells you it supports only Samsung computers :-)… I suggest, Sergey, that it gets mentioned from start, in the description (…is a screen recorder for Samsung computers (Only), running Windows 10 64 bit…)
