Project xCloud is a cloud-based gaming service that lets you stream Xbox games from Microsoft's servers to mobile phones, computers, and TVs. For many users, during the global chip shortage, Project xCloud is the only way to enjoy next-gen games without buying overpriced consoles from scalpers or waiting many months in line.

To access Project xCloud, you need to live in a supported region and buy the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Microsoft recommends using a compatible controller with Project xCloud, but many games also support touch-based controls.

Clarity Boost in Microsoft Edge

Users now have one more reason to ditch Chrome in favor of Edge. Clarity Boost is an exclusive Microsoft Edge feature that uses a set of client-side improvements and optimizations to enhance the visual quality of the video stream. With Clarity Boost, games look less blurry and fuzzy, providing users with a better experience that feels more native.

Edge Clarity Boost

As of now, Clarity Boost is available in Edge 96.0.1033.0 or higher. Although Edge 96 is available in the Stable channel, Microsoft says users can try Clarity Boost only in Edge Canary.

The software giant plans to roll out Clarity Boost for all Microsoft Edge users next year. Although Microsoft did not provide specific launch dates, Edge Canary is available publicly for all users, which means you can give the new feature a try by downloading the browser from the official website.

Microsoft has a comprehensive FAQ about Project xCloud (including a section about Clarity Boost) available on the official Xbox Insiders subreddit. You can access it using this link.
