Microsoft today released a new Insider build in the Dev channel. The official announcement doesn't mention any new feature, and comes with a list of fixes. The full build tag is 10.0.25182.1000.rs_prerelease.220812-1437. The most notable fixes where made for Start menu, taskbar, and Windows Update. Also, Microsoft has changed the build expiration date.

Windows 11’s taskbar will now show information from various Widgets for everyone
Microsoft is rolling out a change to the taskbar to everyone running Windows 11. It will now be able to rotate the information from various widgets in the left corner. Currently, it only shows the weather forecast from the appropriate widget. Now you will see notifications from news, sports, and finance mini apps.
Microsoft will apparently release Windows 11 22H2 “Sun Valley 2” on September 20
It seems that the official release of Windows 11 version 22H2 will take place on September 20. It will be exactly one week after the release of cumulative updates. The information comes from sources familiar with Microsoft's plans.
The Windows 11 Weather widget will now detect location more accurately
Microsoft has improved the accuracy of the device's location detection for widgets. Earlier, the weather forecast in the taskbar could detect a different city from the Weather app, with the latter showing the proper data. To resolve this inconsistency, Microsoft has made Widgets poll the location data more frequently, that resulted in better accuracy.
How to enable new taskbar animation in Windows 11 Dev channel
Just a few days ago Microsoft has released a new Dev channel build 25179 to Insiders. The most important change in it is tabs in File Explorer enabled for everyone. It also includes a new navigation pane, also enabled for everyone. Besides, it comes with a hidden gen. There's a new taskbar animation.
Windows 11 Build 22621.575 and 22622.575 are in the Beta channel
Besides the new Dev channel build, Microsoft today updated the Beta channel for Insiders with Windows 11 version 22H2, builds 22621.575 and 22622.575. They are out with KB5016694 and have quite a different set of features.

Today's build in the Dev channel finally makes File Explorer tabs and the new navigation pane available to everyone. Also, Microsoft is experimenting with how File Explorer shows search results. Finally, there are input improvements, and ISO images available for clean install.
Microsoft open sources its Windows 11 emoji for everyone to expand the set
Microsoft has decided to open-source its Fluent Design 3D emojis to encourage creativity and inclusiveness in the emoji space. A library of 1538 emoji from today is available in Figma and on GitHub .
Cumulative updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10 of August 2022 are here
Microsoft has released monthly cumulative updates for all supported operating systems. Traditionally for Patch Tuesday, they do not bring anything new besides fixes. Updates are already live on Windows Update.
A bug prevents XPS and OXPS files from opening in Windows 11 and 10
A new issue affects Microsoft's actual operating systems. When you try to open an XPS or OXPS file on Windows 11 or 10, the built-in viewer hangs and creates heavy CPU load. This happens to documents in some non-English languages.
