Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3154 is available in Release Preview

In addition to Beta and Dev channel updates for Windows 11, Microsoft has also released Windows 10 Build 19045.3154 (22H2) to insiders in the Release Preview channel. The KB5027293 update improves support for GB18030-2022 in several Simplified Chinese fonts, Microsoft Defender endpoint improvements, and many miscellaneous fixes. After installing it you will be running Windows 10 version 22H2, Build 19045.3154.

Windows 10 version 21H2 is no longer supported

Microsoft has ended support for Windows 10 version 21H2, also known as "November 2021 Update". Its consumer editions, Home and Pro, will no longer receive monthly cumulative updates with security fixes. For its customers, Microsoft will continue supporting Enterprise and Education editions of the OS until June 11, 2024.

Microsoft will discontinue Cortana starting this fall on Windows 11 and 10

Later this year, Microsoft will no longer provide support for Cortana on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. The change could be predicted, as Microsoft has already adding superior AI-powered Copilots in almost all its products. Windows Copilot is a new AI assistant, similar to the ChatGPT 's chat mode.

Microsoft to update ISOs for Windows 11/10 version 22H2

Microsoft is preparing for release new ISO files for both Windows 11 and Windows 10, version 22H2. Both releases will receive integration of the latest cumulative updates. Plus, Windows 11 will get an option to faster receive "Moment" updates.

Microsoft will soon update Windows 21H2 devices to the latest version

As you may remember, Windows 10 version 21H2 support is ending on June 13, 2023. Microsoft has updated the Health Dashboard website with an extra reminder regarding the upcoming change. Also, the company noted that they will soon force update 21H2 devices to the latest Windows 10 version.

Microsoft has released cumulative updates for all the supported operating systems. These updates are mainly focused on resolving bugs and eliminating vulnerabilities, and don't introduce any new features. Optional preview updates for Windows 11 and 10, April 2023

Release Preview Insiders are receiving new updates

Besides the new Beta builds, the Release Preview channel of the Insider program has also received an update. Microsoft has issued Windows 11 Build 22000.1879 (KB5025298) for the initial OS release, along with Windows 11 Build 22621.1631 (KB5025305), version 22H2. Finally, Windows 10 users are also getting a fresh build, Windows 10 Build 19045.2908. Here are the changes.

Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 21H2 in June

Microsoft has recently announced that Windows 10 version 21H2 will be reaching its end-of-support date on June 13th, 2023.
