Enable Desktop Slideshow (auto changing desktop wallpaper) in Windows 10
In Windows 7, Microsoft implemented a new feature called Desktop Slideshow. When enabled, it changes the desktop background image automatically after a period of time. The user can set which images it should cycle through as the background and the frequency of showing the next wallpaper. In Windows 10, Microsoft put all settings related to Desktop Slideshow in the Settings app. This can be confusing for those who are new to Windows 10. In this article, we will see how to manage Desktop Slideshow using the Settings app, and how to access it via the good old Personalization window which is still available in Windows 10 as of this writing.
How to start File Explorer in a separate process in Windows 10
By default, File Explorer opens all its windows in a single process. That process is called explorer.exe. Explorer.exe and its associated DLLs include all of the user interface in Windows - the taskbar, the Start button and the Start menu in Windows 10. When something goes wrong in one of Explorer's windows such as a hang or a crash, it can cause the whole Explorer.exe process to be closed and restarted. All Explorer windows will be closed immediately, and the user interface (taskbar, Start button etc) disappears and loads again. Enabling Explorer to open separate processes for the file browser can improve the stability of the Explorer shell. Additionally, it is useful to test Registry tweaks you make as they will be applied directly because every new instance of Explorer will read its settings from the registry every time you open a new window. Let's see all the ways to start Explorer in a separate process in Windows 10.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update will get a Dark Theme
As you may already know, Windows 10 Anniversary Update, formerly known as the Redstone 1 update, is expected to be released this summer. It has come to our knowledge that Microsoft is going to include a Dark Theme for apps and settings with this Update. The dark theme is already possible in Windows 10 so our guess is that they will simply provide a user interface to enable it so you won't need any Registry hacks or apps to enable it.

Many users are facing an unexpected behavior when using the Desktop context menu in Windows 10. When the user tries to open Personalization or Display context menu items, the following error message appears on the screen:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.
If you faced this issue, here is how to fix it.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update will get notification badges for Universal apps
As smartphones and social media became popular, notification badges to show you new messages became a de facto standard. In Windows 7, Microsoft added overlays for the taskbar so apps could convey anything with a smaller icon over the application's icon.
That overlay could show for example, unread message count for IM and email apps, or play/paused status for media players and similar such notifications for websites pinned to the taskbar using IE. With Windows 10 Anniversary Update, the same will be possible for Universal Apps.
