Bing has become the default search engine for ChatGPT

Microsoft's Bing search engine is now the default search experience for ChatGPT, thanks to their partnership with OpenAI. ChatGPT Plus subscribers will have access to the new search engine, which provides more accurate and up-to-date answers with web data and citations. A plugin will also be available soon for free users to enable Bing on ChatGPT.

Windows 12 will not support ARM32 apps

At the Build 2023 event, Microsoft revealed that forthcoming Qualcomm Oryon processors and the next iteration of Windows, unofficially widely dubbed "Windows 12", will not be compatible with apps designed for the ARM32 architecture. This decision is reasonable, given that most programs have already adopted ARM64, with the remaining few running through x86 emulation.

PowerToys 0.70 released with new Mouse Without Borders and Peek tools

PowerToys 0.70 is available for download, featuring two new tools, Mouse Without Borders and Peek. Mouse Without Borders may be already familiar to many, as  it existed as a standalone project for years. Now it is part of the suite, and allows you to use a single set of keyboard and mouse for managing multiple computers. The other tool, Peek, allows you to quickly preview the select file contents with a key stroke.

Windows 11 Photos app now supports WebP images

Without much fanfare, Microsoft has added support for the WebP image format to the Windows 11 Photo app. The new feature is already available to Insiders in the Dev and Canary channel via the updated app version 2023.11050.2013.0 released earlier this month. However, to get it working, you need to perform extra steps.

You can now use Bing Chat without a Microsoft Account but with some limitations

Microsoft recently announced that users can now access Bing Chat without a Microsoft account. Users can access Bing Chat by simply visiting the Bing website in a web browser, where they will find the option to start a chat session without entering their credentials first.

Also, Microsoft has restored much requested features, Time Scrollbar and Spot Fix. All the changes are already available in Photos 2023.11050.2013.0 in the Dev and Canary channels for Insiders.

Bing Chat is now in public testing, third-party plugin support is coming

Microsoft has recently announced some significant changes for their Bing Chat, which is based on ChatGPT. The updated version of Bing is now available in Open Preview and no longer requires a waitlist, making it easier for everyone to try the new Bing and Edge. All you need to do is sign in to Bing with your Microsoft Account to access the new features.
