If you have a PC with supported AMD Radeon graphics, you can download the latest Radeon Software, version 21.9.1. It brings optimizations for Deathloop, Call of Duty Vanguard Open Beta, and AMD Smart Access Memory on the RX 5000 GPU Series. More importantly, version 21.9.1 is now Windows 11-optimized, which means users can access all features, the latest performance optimizations, and receive support from AMD. You can read the full changelog with all the fixes and known bugs on the official website.

AMD Radeon Software 21.9.1 supports GPUs starting with the RX 400 Series and newer (on desktops) and mobile RX 600 Series and newer. You can download the update in the Radeon Software app or on the AMD Drivers website.

Chipset Drivers

Besides GPU drivers update, AMD released a new chipset driver for motherboards with AM4 and TR4 sockets. Version 3.09.01.140 has only a single point in the changelog: Windows 11 support. Read the full changelog with the list of known issues here.

Despite Microsoft's claims that the first-gen Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs do not support Windows 11, AMD provides official Windows 11 support for older A320, B350, and X370 platforms. Motherboards based on those chipsets support second-gen Ryzen CPUs, which means they also support Windows 11. Still, the official documentation on AMD's website reminds users that the first-gen Ryzen and Ryzen Threadripper are not supported by Windows 11. That rule also applies to Ryzen 2000 APUs. Despite carrying the "2000" name, those processors with integrated graphics are based on the first-gen Zen architecture. Finally, AMD notes that the seventh-gen A-Series processors also do not support Windows 11 despite utilizing the AM4 socket.
