Game Availability

More than 85% of the Xbox Game Pass catalog now runs natively on Arm-based Windows 11 PCs. For some games not yet compatible with local execution, Xbox Cloud Gaming offers an immediate alternative, allowing players to continue enjoying their favorite titles while Microsoft works with partners to extend native support.

Updates to Prism

Recent updates to Prism, Microsoft’s x86/x64 emulation layer for Arm, now include support for AVX and AVX2 instruction sets. This significantly improves compatibility with modern games. Additionally, integration of Epic Anti-Cheat (EAC) brings popular titles such as Gears of War: Reloaded and Fortnite to Arm-based systems.

Performance Guidance for Users

Windows Performance Fit provides users with hardware-specific recommendations, helping them identify which games will perform well on their device. This feature supports informed decisions when selecting titles to download and play.

More to come

Microsoft continues to work closely with OEMs, silicon providers, and game studios to enhance compatibility and performance across the Windows gaming platform. The company is trying to cover as many platform and device as possible.
