Windows 11 Moment 5 update is now available to everyone

Starting today, Microsoft is rolling out Windows 11 Moment 5 update as an optional update to every single eligible PC. If you are interested in getting it, open Settings (Win + I), and navigate to the Windows Update section. There, click Check for updates button. You will now have the KB5035942 optional update: This is what you are looking for.

KB5035942 is available for both Windows 11 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2. After installing the patch in version 22H2, you will have Build 22621.3374, while on version 23H2 you will get Build 22631.3374.

What’s new in Windows 11 Moment 5 Update

If you don't see the update on the Windows Update page, this means that there is some issue that prevents Windows 11 from installing the latest patch. It could be a hardware compatibility issue, or something related to the installed apps.

Microsoft started a gradual roll-out of the Moment 5 features back in February 2024. By that time, only a small select set of users with the Get the latest updates as soon as they are available option enabled. The users had also check for updates manually. But now this has changed, and the option is no longer required.
