Microsoft is working on a refresh button for the Wi-Fi network list. That list appears in the Quick Settings flyout. The purpose of the new button is to display Wi-Fi networks on demand, revealing ones that appeared after you opened Quick Settings.
Unlike the new Mobile Devices branding in Settings, the new button is not hidden. It is visible by default in Windows 11 Build 25997 (Canary). Interestingly, it is not mentioned in the official release notes.
Actually, it was first spotted a week ago in string resources of a Local Experience Pack. Now the button itself appeared in the user interface.
It it still a work in progress. So like many features in Canary builds, it doesn't yet work reliable. But the idea of such a button is pretty great.
You will no longer need to re-open the Quick Settings just to spot a new wireless network, say the one you just started tethering from your phone. It will be a matter of one click.
There is no time frame specified for when it will hit the production-ready version of Windows 11.
