Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 23560 to Insiders in the Dev channel. Starting in this build, you can switch to/from Copilot with Alt + Tab. Besides, there are fixes for File Explorer, Taskbar, Narrator, and more.

Changes and improvements
Copilot
Microsoft is starting to roll out the ability to switch to Copilot for Windows using the ALT+TAB hotkey. When you use this key combination, Copilot will be visible in the list of running applications, which means you can switch to it by pressing the Tab key.
Fixes
File Explorer
- Fixed an issue where dropdown lists and context menus in Explorer would sometimes have a transparent background.
- Fixed an issue where the wrong folder name was displayed in the search field when you are in the Gallery section.
Taskbar
Fixed a crash in explorer.exe
that affected taskbar stability.
Narrator
- Fixed an issue where in languages other than US English, it was not possible to hear Narrator's natural voices before making a selection.
- Fixed an issue that caused Narrator to incorrectly read timestamps for recommended items in the Start menu.
Task Manager
- Improved performance when opening the navigation bar in Task Manager.
Note. Some of the fixes listed above may be included in cumulative updates for release versions of Windows 11.
Known Issues
Start Menu
- Some apps in the Start menu's All Apps list (for example, PWA apps installed through Microsoft Edge) may appear as system apps when they are not.
Copilot
- [New] Some Insiders using Windows 11 Home edition may notice that Copilot for Windows has disappeared from the taskbar. Microsoft is working to fix the problem.
- The new Copilot icon does not appear in Dev channel builds. It will be updated in future builds.
- When you first launch or after updating Copilot, when using Voice Control, you must use the Show grid command to then move to the Ask me anything field.
