Rumors say that Microsoft may pick the final build for Windows 11 version 22H2 this month. Development of Windows 11 version 22H2 (Sun Valley 2) is coming to its end. Now various sources predict that Build 22621 is most likely be the RTM build of the OS.
While some sources say that this will happen in June, Zack Bowden is confident that Build 22621, released this week on the Beta Channel, will be used as the final release unless serious bugs are found. In his opinion, the signing will take place on May 20.
Windows 11 build 22621 is what Microsoft wants to ship as the final/base build for version 22H2. Sign-off is May 20th. Assuming there are no showstopping bugs found before then, 22621 will be the base build that the public gets later this year.

If so, the RTM build of the Windows 11 version 22H2 may be 22621. Microsoft will polish it with several cumulative updates, as it always happens with recent releases. So the minor build number will increase. Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 version 22H2 this fall.
In replies to Zac's tweet, Brandon LeBlanc, senior manager of the Windows Insider program, said that some features, including tabs in File Explorer will become available to members of the Windows Insider program when "they are ready". They may not come until Windows 11 23H2. via.
