Windows 11 and Windows 10 Patch Tuesday Updates, November 14, 2023

The monthly cumulative updates have been released by Microsoft for all currently supported Windows 11/10 systems. These updates primarily focus on fixing any identified errors and addressing vulnerabilities rather than introducing new features. Users can already get them from the Windows Update.

Windows 11 updates

KB5032190 (OS Builds 22621.2715 and 22631.2715)

Applies to:

  • Windows 11 version 22H2, all editions
  • Windows 11 version 23H2, all editions

This update makes miscellaneous security improvements to internal OS functionality. Microsoft again highlights all the changes introduced in version 23H2.

KB5032192 (OS Build 22000.2600)

Applies to:

  • Windows 11 version 21H2, all editions (original version)

Changes

  • The update supports daylight saving time changes in Syria.
  • It addresses an issue in an App-V environment where copy operations stop working after installing the April 2023 update.
  • It addresses an issue with Outlook freezing when printing to a slow IPP printer.
  • It updates Country and Operator Settings Asset profiles for certain mobile operators.
  • It addresses an issue that blocks external connections when setting up a Kubernetes load balanced service with session affinity enabled.
  • It includes updates to the Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist file to protect against BYOVD attacks.
  • It fixes an issue with Windows LAPS where the PasswordExpirationProtectionEnabled policy fails to activate.
