Windows 10 Store gets new appearance and features

Today, Microsoft has started to roll out an updated Store app for Windows 10 Insiders. If you are running the most recent build 14342 (as of this writing), you will see changes in the Store app very soon.

The appearance of the Store and its categories has been refined. The app has got a new progress bar for downloads and the ability to hide apps from the "My Library" section. Hiding apps cleans up the list but you can still view the full list including hidden apps. This is slightly different from Android's Google Play Store which allows you to completely remove the apps you have downloaded.

Windows users who use Universal apps might find this update useful; but of course this change is irrelevant to those using Win32 (Desktop) apps. To get this update, you have to be on Windows 10 build 14342. It will reach your PC soon as long as app auto update is on.
