Windows 10 Build 17134.83 is out with KB4338548

Microsoft today released a new cumulative update to users running Windows 10 version 1803 "April 2018 Update". The update package KB4338548 raises the OS version to 17134.83 from previously released 17134.81.

The update does not include any new features, but it includes a number of bug fixes. It is a minor release that resolves a specific problem with the QuickBooks. It’s referred as June 5, 2018—KB4338548 (OS Build 17134.83).

KB4338548 (OS Build 17134.83) comes with the following change log:

This update addresses an issue where the 2017 and 2018 versions of Intuit QuickBooks Desktop can’t run in multi-user mode on Windows 10, version 1803 devices. The QuickBooks multi-user mode service fails to start with error “Windows could not start the QuickBooksDBXX service on Local Computer.” and “Error 193: 0xc1”.

You can get this update using Windows Update in Settings. Navigate to Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking the 'Check for updates' button. Alternatively, you can directly download from the Microsoft Update Catalog and install it offline.
