Where to download Google Chrome full offline standalone installer

Recently we covered how to get the full offline installer for popular browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer. If you want to download the full installer for Google Chrome, then here's where you can download it.

Before you continue, you must keep in mind that depending on your network configuration, Google Chrome installed via the offline installer may in some scenarios fail to update itself, so you may have to update it manually. This warning comes officially from Google itself and can be a security risk if you forget to update it and remain with some vulnerable version.

There is more than one offline installer in case of Google Chrome that are available for download.

The first is designed to work with a single user account. It will be installed into your user profile folder and will not be available for other Windows user accounts on your PC. To get this installer, use the following link:

The second installer will install Google Chrome for all user accounts on your PC, so everyone who uses your PC along with you will be able to launch the application. Note, this does not mean that everyone will see your browsing history, bookmarks or saved passwords. Chrome will use a separate profile for every Windows user, only the shortcut for the Start Screen/Start Menu will be shared. Using this installer, Google Chrome will be installed into C:\Program Files like a regular application. To get this installer, use the following link:

Finally, if you are a business or IT manager, you may want to deploy Google Chrome using the standard Windows Installer (MSI) technology. The Windows Installer (MSI) version of Google Chrome has support for Group Policies to control nearly all of its settings and cloud management (if you have Google Apps). 1. Thanks a lot for the Chrome offline installer download link. It helps me install Google Chrome on a new system without having to connect to the internet every time. Saved my day, thanks :)

  2. Still, these links end up with google asking me ‘accept and install’. I do not want to install it because for some reason it does not work. WHY IS THERE NOT JUST A LINK TO A FILE? I just want to right-click on a link and choose ‘save target as…’

  3. Thanks for the links, I was tearing my hair out trying to download the Windows installer via an Android tablet. I hate websites that think they know what I want better than I do.

  4. Here’s a more interesting question: when can you find previous versions of Chrome?
If you go to the Chrome forum it’s full of complaints since version 33.
