Microsoft recently released Windows 10 Build 17134.1 to the Slow and Release Preview rings. The official release date of version 1803 is still not announced, and even its official name is not revealed. However, Microsoft Edge on Build 17134.1 shows Windows 10 April Update on the homepage.

The Welcome experience page says "Welcome to the April Update. This Windows 10 update contains many new features. Start here.". This may indicate two things.

  1. Windows 10 build 17134.1 can be the final (RTM) build of Windows 10 version 1803.
  2. Redstone 4 can officially be called as the April Update.

Anyway, Microsoft hasn’t officially revealed the name of the feature update, so we can only guess it.

It is possible to access the updated Welcome experience page directly in your browser on the MSN website. Check out the following link:

As you may already know, the original release date was April 10th, but critical bugs caused Microsoft to postpone the release. It looks like no blocking issues were found in Build 17134 and it is ready to be pushed out to users.

Windows 10 Build 17134 may receive a few cumulative updates before being pushed to the stable branch, then the Fast Ring will start getting "Redstone 5" builds. To learn what's new in Windows 10 Build 17134, please refer to the article
