Surface Laptop

Surface Laptop is one of the first devices from the Copilot+ generation of PCs.

The company will be providing customers with models featuring Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Elite chips, ensuring exceptional performance and long-lasting battery life that lasts throughout the day without needing to recharge. In terms of performance, these devices surpass the Surface Laptop 6 for Business equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors.

According to Microsoft, the new Surface Laptop boasts an 80% increase in power compared to its predecessor. It will offer up to 22 hours of battery life when playing videos from local storage. Additionally, the laptop will come with the option of up to 32 GB of RAM and support for Wi-Fi 7 technology.

Surface Laptop With Snapdragon X

The Surface Laptop line not only transitions to ARM but also receives a highly anticipated design upgrade. Thinner bezels around the screen, rounded display corners, an updated keyboard, and a larger touchpad with haptic feedback by Sensel have been implemented. Users can enjoy one USB-A port, two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a magnetic Surface Connect port.

Offered in two sizes, 13.8 and 15 inches, the Surface Laptop previously featured a 13.5-inch display on the more compact model; however, with thinner frames, a larger display is now possible. The laptop will be released in four color options.

Microsoft says the new ARM-powered Surface Laptop will be available for pre-order right away, with shipping next month. The device will come with Windows 11 version 24H2 pre-installed, but many of Copilot+'s AI-powered features won't be available until the fall.
