Microsoft is refining the branding of its PC gaming offerings. The company previously used the term "Xbox PC" in promotional content, but recent marketing visuals for Grounded 2 and Age of Mythology: Retold now feature the label "Xbox on PC."

Look like Microsoft is seeking for a recognizble identity for Xbox’s presence on personal computers. Just a couple of months ago, the company began actively using the name "Xbox PC" in its marketing materials, but it seems that this name has been adjusted. At some point, Microsoft will have to settle on one name to avoid confusion. The change was spotted by Tom Warren.
No functional changes result from these naming adjustments. Players retain full access to purchase and run games via Steam or the Xbox app without alteration.
