SwiftKey Beta gets integration with Microsoft To Do

Keyboard Keys Icon

Microsoft has released a new beta version of the SwiftKey keyboard (7.8.6.4), which includes integration with the Microsoft To Do service. The To Do icon would automatically appear in the keyboard toolbar after installing the SwiftKey update.

By taping on the To Do icon, you will have access to your own task list, which you can not only view, but also mark tasks as completed. In addition, SwiftKey lets you add tasks from the clipboard, making it much easier to save links that you want to come back to later.

Unfortunately, SwiftKey does not currently allow setting the priority, date and time for a task. You can only give it a name and choose which list it should be placed in, and for other actions you still have to open the full-fledged Microsoft To Do application.

You can download the beta version of SwiftKey for Android from the Google Play store using this link. It requires Android 5.0 and up, that should not be a problem, as it is pretty aged today.

The SwiftKey keyboard app constantly receives useful improvements. Microsoft purchased it back in 2016, and actively working in it since then. Just recently it has got a sync feature that allows sharing the clipboard contents between Android and Windows 10.
