What is new in the November 2021 firmware update for Surface Duo?
As it was with the last six updates, the November 2021 firmware patch for the first-gen Surface Duo brings only general Android security fixes. Here are the version numbers for Surface Duo in North America, AT&T-locked devices, and Europe:
- North America: 2021.1019.24;
- AT&T: 2021.1019.25;
- Europe: 2021.1019.26;
The update requires a puny 42MB of free space, which is no wonder considering the changelog contains only one thing:
- The update addresses scenarios outlined in the Android Security Bulletin – November 2021.
Microsoft says Android 11 for the original Surface Duo should arrive "before the end of this year," which means Microsoft has a little more than a month to deliver its promise.
It is worth mentioning that the second-gen Surface Duo is yet to receive its November 2021 firmware update.
What is new in the November 2021 firmware update for Surface Laptop 4 (AMD)?
AMD-based Surface Laptop 4 (both 13-inch and 15-inch configurations) received its first firmware update since its release at the beginning of this year. Here is what is new.
