Surface Book 2 gets new drivers and security patches in the latest update

Microsoft issues the April 2021 Surface firmware update with fresh patches for Surface Book 2. Released on April 2, 2021, this update brings new graphics drivers for performance improvements and optimizations, plus several security fixes.

Surface Book 2 is a hybrid 2-in-1 laptop from Microsoft. The company released this computer in late 2017. Surface Book 2 retained the previous form-factor from the first-gen device but added a new 15-inch option. Both models are powered by Intel's 8th gen processors with Nvidia 10 series GPUs (except the base 13-model, which has no discreet GPU and works on a 7th gen CPU.)
