Microsoft has confirmed a performance issue affecting NDI (Network Device Interface) streaming following the release of the August 2025 Windows Patch Tuesday update (KB5063878, OS Build 26100.4946). The affected platforms are Windows 11, version 24H2, and Windows 10, versions 22H2 and 21H2. Server platforms are not affected by this issue. NDI is used by broadcasting apps like OBS, and now gives issue to streamers across various platforms.

However, due to the branch change, some features have been temporarily removed from Windows 11 Insider builds. Microsoft plans to bring them back in the future. BR_RELEASE builds do not represent any feature update for Windows 11.
