Opera 49 allows arranging extensions on the toolbar

An update to the developer channel of the Opera browser has brought notable changes for the upcoming version. A new build of Opera 49, released to the development branch, adds the ability to shuffle the order of your extensions.

This new snapshot of Opera 49  released today allows the user to rearrange the order of extension icons on the toolbar. See the following screenshot:

Besides that,the browser comes with the following change log.

  • [HiDPI] Checkboxes were misplaced and badly scaled.
  • [HiDPI] Auto-filing was totally misplaced after DPI change.
  • [HiDPI] Dragging a tab makes screen flashing after DPI change.
  • [HiDPI] O-menu’s context menu’s borders were missing.
  • [Mac High Sierra] Search popup font was too dark.
  • [Mac High Sierra] No animation on tab hover was shown.
  • [Mac High Sierra] Broken drop target animation in extensions sidebar.
  • [Mac] Sound indicator and mute tab in tab menu were not accessible.
  • [Mac] It was impossible to activate tabs of a certain width.
  • Don’t show hint about new feature – dark theme.
  • Fix for Linux crash when enabling VPN.
  • “Get more wallpapers” always linked to English version of Opera add-ons page.
  • Chromium is updated to 62.0.3198.0.
