The November 2021 firmware update for Surface Laptop 4 improves device stability and fixes issues that could cause a system bugcheck (BSOD). Also, the update refines Surface Dock 2 connection stability and interop scenarios.

The November 2021 firmware update is now available from Windows Update on Intel-based Surface Laptop 4 running Windows 10 20H2 or newer. AMD-based Surface Laptop 4 is yet to receive its first firmware update.
What is new in the November 2021 firmware update for Surface Studio?
The original Surface Studio does not support Windows 11, but that does not mean Microsoft is ready to stop supporting it. The company will continue updating the original Surface Studio until November 13, 2021. Meanwhile, here is what is new in the November 2021 firmware update.
