On September 26, Microsoft will release the "Moment 4" update for Windows 11 version 22H2. The update will bring with it several new features, including Copilot, Voice Access, Windows Backup, etc. You can now try all these features in the Release Preview insider channel.

ℹ️ It is important to note that these new features will also be part of Windows 11 version 23H2, even bigger update that comes in Q4 2023. It will incorporate everything announced today and add much more system and app updates.
So, the Windows 11 22H2 update, internally known as "Moment 4", will include the following key changes:
- Copilot for Windows (preview). This feature is not currently available in all countries.
- Updated Explorer.
- New features of Voice Access.
- New natural voices for on-screen narrator.
- Improved Windows backup.
If you have enabled the "Get the latest updates as soon as they become available" toggle option in Settings > Windows Update, then you will receive "Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509)" along with build 22621.2361 . Information about the configuration update will appear in the update history after the reboot. Windows Configuration Update gradually enables new features for users. Microsoft is using a Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR) to ship them, even in Release Preview channel.
If the "Get the latest updates as soon as they become available" option is disabled, then you will also receive build 22621.2361. But the new features will not be enabled. In this case, the new features will gradually appear on your device when Microsoft will decide to ship them to wider audience.
You can turn on the “Get the latest updates as soon as they become available” setting at any time. This will make the OS download and install “Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509).” A reboot required to activate the Moment 4 update features.
