Although there is still no official confirmation of the name of "the next generation of Windows," Microsoft has released a YouTube video teaser that subtly confirms Windows 11 is coming. Microsoft published an 11-minute-long video called "Windows Startup Sounds - Lo-Fi Remix." It is a collection of startup sounds from different Windows versions slowed down 40 times. In the description, the company says that the video will help enthusiasts to relax before the June 24 event.

Having trouble relaxing because you are too excited for the June 24 Microsoft Event? Take a slow trip down memory lane with the Windows 95, XP, and 7 startup sounds slowed down to a meditative 4,000 percent reduced speed.

There are several reasons to think Microsoft prepares to launch Windows 11 on June 24, 2021. The event begins at 11 AM ET Time, and the invitation picture has a Windows logo with a shadow outline that looks like 11.

Now we have a precisely 11-minute-long video with Windows startup sounds. Obviously, we still cannot be 100% sure, but there are simply too many 11.

Microsoft recently dropped another hint that Windows 10's successor is coming. The company updated its support documentation where says that it will end Windows 10 support in October 2025. It is clear that the upcoming Windows version is big enough to get a new number even though Microsoft promised Windows 10 to be "the last Windows."

In case you missed it, Jensen Harris, former Director of Product Management for Windows, recently published a YouTube video explaining why Microsoft removed startup chime. The video teaser hints that the startup sounds are coming back in Windows 11 alongside major UI refresh and lots of new features. With Windows 10X now being six feet under, Microsoft wants to bring parts of the deceased operating system to regular Windows to breathe in new life into a somewhat stagnant and clearly not-so-exciting product.
