Along with the latest Dev channel build, Microsoft is rolling out an updated Microsoft Store app. It will save your time on finding a game or movie, as it now shows its trailers directly in a flyout.
The change is available the Microsoft Store version 22209. It will automatically reach everyone who is running Insider Preview releases on the Dev channel.
In the changelog for build 25227 Microsoft highlights the following updates for the app.
- Pop Up Trailers for Games & Movies: A new way of interaction is added for you to preview trailers of your favorite games and movies.
So you no longer need to open the full game or film page to see its trailer. This speeds up your navigation on the Store, and saves you a lot of time.
Windows 11 Build 25227 is notable for an updated Widgets flyout that now have a header with extra options. For some users, the header can also appear on the left. Besides, the Start menu for some Insiders will show badging on their user profile notifying them that certain actions need to be taken. You will find the full list of new features in this post.
