What's new in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22526 (Dev Channel)
- Microsoft is experimenting with showing ALT + TAB as windowed instead of full screen for some Insiders.
- Added support for wideband speech when using Apple AirPods products (AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max), improving audio quality for voice calls.
- Credential Guard is now enabled by default on Windows 11 Enterprise (E3 and E5) licensed PCs that are enterprise-joined.
- Finally, Windows 11 is indexing more file locations to make search Files Explorer even faster. The list of locations is under testing.
Besides the changes mentioned above, there are a number of reliability improvements and bugfixes made to File Explorer, Search, Spotlight collection, Widgets, and a few more. For instance, today's build addresses a DWM crash impacting some Insiders on the previous flight.
