Microsoft releases a new Photos app with iCloud integration to Insiders

The Redmond software giant has announced the availability of iCloud Photos integration in the Photos app on Windows 11. The company is rolling out a new app version 2022.31100.9001.0 to Insiders in the Dev channel.

Photos app users are aware of its capabilities to view, organize, and share photos from OneDrive in addition to the local collection. In the same fashion, the updated Photos app will allow you to access iCloud Photos.

The latter will appear in the "All photos" view, as well as on a dedicated page in the app. You can open by clicking the appropriate icon in the sidebar.

To start, update the app from the Store on your Dev channel Windows 11, and sign in to the iCloud for Windows app on your PC. The Photos app will guide you on how to get this done.
