Microsoft Edge 89 is now available in the Beta channel, more precisely it is version 89.0.774.18. The stable version 89 will become available in early March. There are a lot of great changes, which of course should be familiar to Dev and Canary Edge users.
Today's build 89.0.774.18 is the first Edge 89 build in the Beta channel, and it brings a bunch of new features. Most important of them is the ability to Reset sync.
Another changes is the new Extensions menu that hides the extension icons from the toolbar into a special menu, and makes the browser look more consistent.
Other changes include improvements made to Kiosk mode, and video auto-play blocking.
There are also new form auto-fill features that now has support for birthdays and allows you to directly paste the clipboard contents.
Besides the above features, Edge 89 Beta includes a set of new group policies. These are as follows.
BrowsingDataLifetime- Browsing Data Lifetime Settings
MAMEnabled- Mobile App Management Enabled
DefinePreferredLanguages- Define an ordered list of preferred languages that websites should display in if the site supports the language

Download Edge Beta 89
Edge 89 should be already available on your computer, because the app is using a background service to download and apply updates automatically. However, if this hasn't happen yet, you can open the Edge menu (Alt+F), click on Settings, and select About Microsoft Edge in the left. Edge will check and install the latest available version. It can perform this operation even on metered connections.
For pre-release versions, Microsoft is currently using three channels to deliver updates to Edge Insiders. The Canary channel receives updates daily (except Saturday and Sunday), the Dev channel is getting updates weekly, and the Beta channel is updated every 6 weeks.
Finally, you can manually download Edge Beta from the official web site.
