Looks like Microsoft making Surface Duo as close as possible to Windows 11, so the user interface will be familiar to them, while utilizes the Android ecosystem. It even includes a feed section with widgets, the features you have on Windows 11.

It is expected that the new firmware version will be released before the end of this year. However, Microsoft didn't name the release date. The update will likely be available for both Surface Duo 1 and Surface Duo 2.
