Insiders can now try Cocreator in Microsoft Paint

Microsoft has released an update to the Paint app, version 11.2309.20.0. It is available in Windows 11 and includes a preview of the Cocreator feature. At the moment, only Insiders on the Dev and Canary channels can try it in action.

Cocreator in Paint is based on the DALL-E neural network developed by OpenAI. With its help, you can quickly generate a unique image by entering a text query and selecting the desired style. The feature will offer three image options to choose from.

It is noted that access to the feature will be provided gradually. After updating the application, you must log in to your Microsoft account and click on the Cocreator button on the toolbar. This will join the waiting list. You will be notified by email when a preview version of a feature becomes available to you.

During the testing phase, users will be given 50 credits to generate images. One credit is deducted per generation of a set of images. This system may be changed in the future.

Currently, Cocreator is only available in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, UK and Italy. You must enter the text description to generate an image in English.
