Microsoft has issued Windows 10 Build 21296.1010 (KB4602812) to Windows Insiders running Build 21296 in the Dev branch. This update does not include anything new and is designed to test company's servicing pipeline.
It is now common practice for Microsoft to regularly check if new builds can be released without issues. The company is releasing dummy updates that change the build number, but do not change anything else in the OS. In case of today's KB4602812 patch, it raises Windows build number to 21296.1010
.
Speaking about Windows 10 Build 21296, it doesn't bring much changes to users. Actually there are just two new options, which are already familiar to most Insiders.
- The ability to create a new Storage Spaces pool from Settings.
- A new Clipboard History design.
